Radha Prasanna (Kuchipudi)

Ms. Radha Prasanna, is an established Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi Guru, a celebrated and admired choreographer and an ardent lover of the Indian art, culture and heritage. She is the founder of Ardhanaari School of Dance in Chennai as well as in Stockholm. She has passionately pursued Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi and showcased her talent in national as well as international platforms. She is the receiver for Best Dancer Award from Nrithyopasana in 2001, followed by Dr.Padma Subramanian Award in 2002 and Natya Kala Ratna from Social and Cultural Academy for the years 2000 and 2003. She has performed for Telugu Sangam, Tamil Sangam, Namaste Stockholm and this would be her second year pleasantly entertaining the audience at Huddinge Festival. Her facial expression and swift body movements will make you sway to the story she unfurls before you.

Shreyasi Bhowmik, is an Antenna Engineer by profession and a Dancer by passion. She has learnt Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi as well as Mohiniattam for 16 years under many celebrated Gurus in Kalakshetra, Thanjavur and Kalamandalam styles. She came to Stockholm as a student and has culminated a niche for herself in the dance circuit here. She is a part of the Ardhanaari school of Dance, led by Ms. Radha Prasanna. With her she has performed in Telugu Sangam, Namaste Stockholm and would be her first time performing in the Huddinge Festival.
