Sanjana Arun is an A grade artist in Doordarshan and also recipient of the title ‘Nrithya Niveditha’ conferred by Gana Mukundhapriya, Chennai. She has won the Best Performer award from the coveted Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha, Chennai.

Sanskriti is a non-profit organization working to promote and create awareness about Indian culture in Sweden. Sanskriti provides a collaborative platform for artists, who are passionate about art and India.

Uppsala Indian Choir

Uppsala Indian Choir or UIC is a unique Sweden based musical choir, which hosts music enthusiastic academicians, mostly those associated with Uppsala University. Founded by two science professors Suparna and Biplab Sanyal, this choir has been running successfully since 2014 and catering various genre of Indian,

Tagore Dance and music group created a dance and music platform to showcase Rabindranath Tagore’s timeless work. We emphasis training through learning and appreciating Tagore’s songs, poems and dance-drama etc. and finally interpreting the gathered thought to an audiovisual performance.

Veronica (Kathak).

Veronica Tjerned has studied various forms of classical dances from India since early childhood. But decided to focus only on kathak since 1999 as she truly believes you can only master one style in one life time.

Edith Humble (Odissi).

Edith Humble started learning Odissi in 2003, from Ulrika Larsen in Stockholm, trained in India by late guru Ramani Ranjan Jena. After a few years of intitial training Edith continued her dance studies with a scholarship from ICCR (Indian Council of Cultural Relations) at Shriram Bharatiya Kalakendra in New Delhi 2007-2008.

Arundhathi (Carnatic music).

Arundhathi has presented junior programs on multiple platforms such as Bangalore Gayana Samaj, Ananya Sabhangana, Dr. H.N.Kalakshetra and Kumaravyasa Mantapa in Bangalore, the annual Purandara Dasa Aradhane at Mulabagilu, Karnataka, etc. She has also sung in workshops conducted by her Guru Vidushi T. Sharada on Vibhakti Kritis, Navagraha Kritis and Navavarna Kritis of Muthuswamy Deekshitar.

Vishnu Priya (Carnatic music).

Vishnu Priya is a Carnatic classical vocalist who lives in Lund and is currently working for ikea. She grew up in New Zealand and has been pursuing music from a young age of 6 years under her mother Dr. Padma Govardhan.

Babita Bucktawor(Bollywood Dance).

Babita Bucktawor is a Bollywood Dance teacher at Haninge Dance studio.

Peali Juva,Tomas Drunga(classical music).

Huddinge Indian Festival invites you to a concert of Indian classical music performance by Peali Juva, outstanding singer and musician, from Finland with the best and sweet tabla player in Lithuania, Tomas Drunga!

Ashwini Ranadive (bollywood).

Ashwini Ranadive is a bollywood dance trainer and licensierad Zin Zumba Fitness Instructor.

Krishna Priyanka (Kuchipudi).

Krishna Priyanka was born in India and moved to Sweden in 2015. She started learning Kuchipudi at the age of 10, which is one of the eleven major Indian classical dances.

Arun Venkitaraman (classical music).

Arun was initiated into violin at the age of 14 in the carnatic South Indian classical music by Late Shri. Vijayam Ramaswamy of Bombay. Arun has been undergoing advanced training under the tutelage of Shri. Vasanta Kannan in the Lalgudi style of violin.

I am jasneet singh and i am a singer from india. I am into live gigs and music performances for the last one year and am working with Musical dreams in india.

Anjali singh (Indie Fuzion).

Indie Fuzion is a group of fun-loving and passionate dancers, who enjoy dance as a way of life. They entertain people with their energetic performances in Sweden and beyond.

Palace on Wheels is a music collective that plays Indian classical music in different formats, often as jugalbandi. This format with its interesting improvisations gives new life to the old raga forms and semi-classical music.
